Spirits are electromagnetic beings, as we are.  They can and do use the magnetic effect of the moons pull on the earth to increase their own strength to communicate, be it by appearing easier or being recorded on magnetic and digital devices.   Electromagnetic meters have proven that we register spirit's presence by magnetic readings.  It only stands to reason that when they can utilize a force as uniform and universal as the magnetic pull of the moon, they will.

Although spirits can communicate at any time, my own research has proven that you will receive more results in the  three days leading up to a full moon and the three days after a full moon.

As the moons light begins to diminish in the waning  crescent phase and into the new moon we experience less light.  This is the second best time to photograph outdoor spirit activity.   Simply because there is less reflective light.  Time to go to those cemeteries.

So what does solar activity have to do with paranormal investigations?

Just as the moon affects the magnetic pull on earth, the sun affects the electrical  and magnetic fields on earth.  We have all experienced trouble with cell phones and satellite dishes during a solar storm.   If there is a solar flare and a  geomagnetic storm, go investigate.  Research has proven that the chances of experiencing some spirit activity is high.  If it is close to a new moon or full moon and with a solar flare of M, class, X class or most prized the X class flare  and or the geomagnetic field reads UNSETTLED or STORM you are in paranormal investigation heaven.
