Text Box: As Thanskgiving approaches we are reminded once again that it is a special time of year to remember the things we have to be grateful for.

Giving thanks should not be a special holiday occasion.  It should become a daily habit.  The benefits you will receive are tremendous.  Having said that I do realize for some that the attitude of gratitude is not always an easy thing to master.  It is always much easier to remember the bad things than to focus on the good.   Here are some tips that will help you make giving thanks an everyday habit;
Keep a gratitude journal: Write down at least 10 things per day that you are grateful for. For example: “ I ‘m grateful for my safe and secure home.” or I am grateful for the friends in my life.”
Think of all the good things that came out of bad situations and write them down. For Example: “ If that truck had not been going so slow, I would have been in that accident I just passed.”
Take time to smile at every person you meet
Make it a point to tell someone when they do a good job.
Don’t focus on what you lack in your life, focus on what you have. You will soon see more good coming into your life.
Give thanks for the people in your life. Remember all that you have accomplished because of them.
Give thanks for the animals you share your life with. They are the representation of unconditional love.
I think you get the idea, write down all the blessings in your life and accept that more are on the way. Giving Thanks is a powerful tool that can and will change your life.
